Scope of Work

Perform base topographic mapping on Bodega Avenue for use in relocating overhead utility lines to underground services in a primarily residential area.

Project Challenges

• Locate utility easements of record as well as gas and electrical hookups to housing and commercial buildings, with the majority of these connections points not accessible from street frontage
• Execute survey techniques with minimal impact to daily traffic flow

Solutions and Successes

• Coordinated with the City to gain access to the residential and commercial properties
• Completed topographic map included orthorectified photos of the hookup locations, street right-of-ways; public utility easement and parcel property lines; spot shots collected during the field survey effort; and utility layout information
