Taro Duncan serves as a Survey Technician. Taro originally set out to study law but pivoted to a career in land surveying after learning about the challenging and rewarding field work on the Brelje & Race survey crew from his friend – and now coworker – Drake Herold. From his first day on the job, Taro took a keen interest in field land surveying, and he has quickly learned the many elements of the profession. His eye for detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic make him a valuable asset to the survey crew. He finds particular satisfaction in boundary resolution, determining accurate property and jurisdictional boundaries utilizing historic records and markers in the field. In his free time Taro enjoys camping, fishing, kickboxing, and tending to his pet California King Snake, King Bert.
