Sean is a Senior Principal and part of the senior management team at Brelje & Race. He has over 33 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in the areas of water system master planning, water and wastewater systems design, and construction management. He is an experienced user of various sophisticated software packages for modeling complex water system networks, including H2ONet, WaterCAD and EPANet, and has used these programs for master planning and analyses of large and small water systems. A member of the team at Brelje & Race since 1995, Sean's experience encompasses a broad range of projects, including welded steel water storage tanks, potable water booster pumping stations, sewer lift stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities and sewer and water pipeline improvements. Prominent projects include the new Sutter Health Santa Rosa Medical Center’s water wells, water treatment plant, storage facilities, pumping facilities, and sewer lift station and the City of Santa Rosa’s Proctor Heights twin-2.6 MG welded steel water storage tanks and booster and pumping facility.
Sean is a long-time resident of Santa Rosa, attending elementary school through high school here, followed by the Santa Rosa Junior College. After graduating CSU, Chico with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, he and his wife spent several years working overseas in the US Peace Corps before returning to Santa Rosa. Outside of work Sean enjoys skiing, hiking, bird-watching and fly fishing. He also enjoys sharing his occasional home brew creations with his friends and colleagues.
