Tim Barger joins our team as Construction Inspector, applying his extensive industry knowledge to supervising construction work in the field. Tim brings over 35 years of construction experience, having served as Superintendent and Project Manager for projects ranging from small-scale improvements to major institutional land developments. He is adept at leading all facets of construction phase services, from preconstruction to final sign-off, working in close collaboration with clients, designers, and the contracting team to ensure successful project delivery. Tim holds a B.S. in Civil and Structural Engineering from University of California, Davis. In his time off you can find him enjoying a round of golf or relaxing with his family.

Alexander Cody-Prentice is a certified Engineer-in-Training and joins Brelje & Race as an Engineering Technician. A concern for the environment combined with an interest in science and math led Alex to study environmental resources engineering at Humboldt State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. Brelje & Race’s expertise in water resources engineering drew Alex to the firm, where he is currently working on several projects to bring rural water systems into compliance with current regulations. In his off hours Alex enjoys tending to the flora and fauna in his collection of freshwater aquariums.

Taylor Tappin joins Brelje & Race in the role of Engineering Technician. Taylor grew up nearby and graduated from Windsor High School, where he flourished in math and science. While earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, Taylor developed a keen interest in water resources and structural engineering. At Brelje & Race, Taylor is working on several water and wastewater resources projects, including water distribution system improvements. Taylor credits his disciplined work ethic and team focus to his passion for football, having excelled as an offensive lineman during his high school, collegiate, and now his professional career. Ever the dedicated athlete, outside work you’ll find Taylor on the football field or the golf course.
