Brelje & Race Consulting Engineers has an opportunity for an experienced, highly talented, and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with water resource experience to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. This full-time position is available immediately.
As a civil engineering professional experienced in the planning, permitting, and design of water infrastructure, you will execute water source development, treatment, storage, and distribution projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing engineering calculations following standard methods and principles, developing recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection, conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using various industry software, and writing technical reports and memoranda. You will work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to navigate projects through grant and loan funding applications and administration and to ensure compliance with the requirements of State and Federal regulatory agencies. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and will interact with colleagues and our clients.
The ideal candidate will enjoy our small office environment, have a strong desire to collaborate with colleagues and clients, and enjoy a diverse project workflow. You will work under the direction and guidance of a Senior Principal, and depending upon experience, may direct the work of other staff assigned to their projects.

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be $120,000 to $135,000 (annually), and will be based on experience, qualifications, education, and licensure/certifications.
