Brelje & Race Consulting Engineers welcomes five team members to the firm:

Anna McKenna joins the team as an Engineering Technician and Engineer in Training. Anna brings recent experience as a design engineer and process modeler for water and wastewater projects for numerous municipal and private clients. A college internship with a regional water utility inspired Anna to focus her career in water and wastewater treatment, where she sees great potential for improving environmental outcomes. At Brelje & Race, Anna is working on a number of water and wastewater projects, including reclamation facilities and back-up power generation for water and sewer distribution. Anna holds a M.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis. In her spare time Anna enjoys cooking and outdoor recreation, including cycling, rock climbing, and snowboarding.

With over 35 years of experience in the field, Paul Bellomo joins Brelje & Race as Construction Technician II. In this role Paul is our representative in the field, ensuring quality control and responding to issues as they arise. Previously, Paul worked for the County of Sonoma for 20 years in a variety of related roles, including soils and materials testing, land surveying, and site supervision for both underground and surface civil work. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences from CSU Northridge with a minor in Geology. A longtime Sonoma County resident, Paul resides on a farm near Sebastopol, where he raised five children and grows and presses his own olive oil.

Andre Morand recently joined the firm as Marketing and Communications Lead. In this role, Andre is the subject leader for promotional activities and business development, working with the leadership team to identify and pursue new opportunities. Andre’s prior experience includes marketing and business management in landscape architecture, as well as graphic design and communications consulting. A Rohnert Park native, Andre graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Urban Planning. Outside the office, Andre enjoys hand crafting heirloom-quality patchwork quilts in his Cotati studio.

Drawing upon over two decades of experience, Tim Robinson joins the team as Land Surveyor. Tim holds a B.S. in Survey Engineering from California State University Fresno and is a licensed Land Surveyor in California (#8472). Tim’s work on our team will encompass a broad range of land surveying services, such as Records of Survey and parcel mapping. Prior to joining Brelje & Race Tim worked with land surveying enterprises in Marin County and the Peninsula. In his free time Tim is an avid amateur astronomer and enjoys art and writing.

Yasmim Yoldi-Bailey serves as an Engineering Technician. She is currently working on a variety of land development projects, including school modernization and ADA accessibility improvements. She brings international experience to the firm, having served on both structural and civil engineering teams in her homeland of Brazil. Yasmim received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Pará in Belém, Brazil. A dedicated athlete, Yasmim earned national championship medals for volleyball while in university. In her free time she enjoys such varied interests as weightlifting and fashion makeup.
